Coach Tre McKeithen is entering his first season here at CCAC.

Coach Tre is a Pittsburgh native, one of the top player development coaches in the area, and former division 1 basketball player at Saint Francis University. After Saint Francis, he went to Point Park University here in Pittsburgh where he was a student coach and graduated in 2020 with a degree in Sports Management.

During his time in College, he started a training business called Team DreamCatcher where he work with players from the NBA, Overseas Professionals, College, and some of the top High School players in the country. That business helped him land a job at Carolina Basketball Academy (CBA) in Elizabeth City, NC during the 2020-21 season where he was the Associate Head Coach and Player Development Coach. 

After coaching at CBA, Coach Tre became the Associate Head Men’s Basketball Coach and Head Women’s Coach at Penn State Greater Allegheny from 2021-23 where he helped lead the Men’s program to win a Conference Championship and lead the Women’s team to have two of the best seasons in program history while also winning the Coach of the Year award during the 2022-23 season. While coaching at Penn State, he also was the Head Coach for Dubois Dream during The Basketball Tournament (TBT), coaching professional basketball players. 

The past two years before joining the staff at CCAC, Coach has been traveling around the country to work with his basketball clients of all levels!
