Kyle Carrington is a seasoned basketball professional from Detroit, Michigan with a passion for coaching and player development. As a former collegiate athlete, he brings a wealth of experience to his roles on and off the court. Kyle holds a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Production and Media Management, as well as a Masters of Education in Athletic Coaching and Administration, both from Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA. Kyle's coaching journey began during his time as a student assistant for the Point Park University Men's Basketball team, where he learned the intricacies of the college coaching world and honed his skills in film breakdown and practice organization. As a 3-year letterman for the Point Park Pioneers, Kyle also captained the team, showcasing his leadership abilities both on and off the court. Following his undergraduate studies, Kyle transitioned seamlessly into coaching roles, serving as an Assistant Men's Basketball Coach at Shady Side Academy, where he contributed to a successful season with a winning record and a regular season section title. He also gained valuable experience as the Head Basketball Coach and Tournament Director for the AAU program, Basketball Stars of America, where he coached travel teams, oversaw tournaments and player development camps. Currently, Kyle serves as the Assistant Men's Basketball Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at the Community College of Allegheny County, where he has achieved remarkable success, including leading the team to an undefeated conference championship. Additionally, Kyle is an Elite Skills Development Basketball Trainer at ICE Academy, where he fosters player growth across all age groups and spearheads strategic marketing initiatives.
